About The Dam:
Bryn is a substantial Griffonne, and she has a goat-hair type of coat with abundant undercoat. She has a streak of independance which has become an advantage in the field. Bryn has a natural quartering action, and has a very high level of water love. She has an excellent point and natural retrieve, and is a very rugged type of hunting bitch.She has produced with three different sires, Ch. Tucker's Georgie CD CGC (unrelated - outcross litter), Ch. Griffonpoint Defies Gravity CD (unrelated - outcross litter), Duckpond Princeton (unrelated - outcross litter). In each case she has produced willing hunters, some of which have been a bit independant, and which have been typically cooperative, shown an early natural point, retrieve and track....puppies that are eager for game contact and talented in the field and water.
About The Sire:
Acer is a Griffon of more square structure, excellent coat and is an athlete. He has an excellent nose, and is also a cooperative and willing Griffon. Acer has a bigger running style and "horse-power". He is a young dog, will be three years old this coming April so is just coming into his own in the field. Acer has shown many traits that we appreciate and we believe he will have a positive influence on our bloodlines.Acer has produced two litters. Both matches have been outcrosses (unrelated bitches) The first was our foundation bitch, CH Checkered Meg, and the second litter was with Ch Prancing Acrobat.
This breeding is an outcross, with neither sire nor dam being related. I expect that we will see high cooperation and eagerness to please, and we may see some independance in this litter. Structurally, the pups may tend to be in the top of the standard, and I expect we will see more coat and water love. This is a complimentary match that will produce a high level of talent and ability, combined with structure and intelligence to offer the on-foot hunter a good companion in the field and water. I expect that we will be very pleased.
