Working Gundog List: The Working Gundog List is a forum
for fellow hunters to discuss hunting, training, testing, and breeding of dogs for hunting
on foot or horseback. These are primarily gundogs bred for the ordinary sportsman who
hunts on foot, including but not exclusively those that instinctively search, point,
flush, retrieve from land and water, and track wounded game on land and in water. These
breeds include the versatile pointer-retriever breeds, traditional pointers and setters,
spaniels, and retrievers amongst others but the list is inclusive rather than exclusive
and all true sportsmen are welcomed.
