The Korthals Griffon (AKA Wire-Haired Pointing Griffon) is an all purpose sporting dog, developed for hunting upland and waterfowl, tracking deer and wild boar. Korthals Griffons (Wire-haired Pointing Griffons) are intelligent and eager to please.
Griffonpoint Registered Kennel supports the continued use of the Korthals Griffon as a versatile hunting companion.
Griffonpoint Kennel has a breeding program which reflects the maxim "Form Follows Function".
Shannon Ford has professionally bred, trained and judged gundogs. She has run gundog clubs, taught seminars and developed unique gundog training methodologies.
During the 1990's Shannon was a NAVHDA Apprentice Judge and was a CKC accredited Field Test Judge for Pointing breeds, approved for judging all pointing breeds.
She has 20 years experience with selecting and breeding Wirehaired Pointing Griffons.
