About The Dam:

Grout was born here at Griffonpoint.    She was born in the final litter of Ch. Prancing Acrobat, who has been a very good producer and who was brought out of retirement to be bred with Acer for Grout's litter.

Grout is a very eager bitch, and is one of those dogs who will go at a gallop all day in the field.  Even tough cover does not cause her delay, though she is smaller in size.

In the water, she is relentless, she bursts into the water, retrieving with an urgency that is totally refreshing

About The Sire:
Galahad
is a Griffon of solid, athletic structure, excellent outercoat and undercoat.  He is an easily handled dog in the field, and an eager companion.  He is a young dog, he just turned 4 years old, so is just coming into his own in the field.

Galahad has produced three litter.  The first was our Griffonpoint Hasta Not Snow, a line breeding on our Foundation Sire, Ch Tuckers Georgie CD. Second was with Griffonpoint Purdy, and the third was with Griffonpoint Gunners Lady.

This should be a good litter, it is a 1/2 brother, 1/2 sister breeding.  This type of line breeding has worked very well in the past, and hopefully this litter will have the strengths of both parents.

So far the pups have good coats, and with good substance.

In character, Icon is a very outgoing, active and clever Griff.  She is very affectionate and interested in everything that goes on in the house.  She is very playful and buoyant.

There is a difference in working style, so we will probably see some pups like Grout, some like Galahad.  Hopefully all will love water and have great noses!

In any case, these pups should have the solid hunting traits that we have seen passed down through the Reimer line, and through Acer.
